SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We currently offer FREE shipping within the UAE for all orders over AED 300. A shipping fee of AED 20 applies for orders below AED 300. We will do our very best to have your order delivered within 2 working days, however please allow up to 5 working days to reach you.

We now also ship to Oman and Saudi Arabia with prices calculated at checkout. Delivery time is 10-14 days. Please note any customers charges incurred will be payable on delivery.

Accuracy of the Delivery Address

The accuracy of the delivery address is extremely important. A fixed surcharge of AED 20 is applied to any shipment that has an incorrect delivery address at the time of pickup, and for which delivery cannot be fulfilled after making efforts at the destination to determine the correct address. The Address Correction surcharge shall be directly paid by the customer to the courier.

CLICK & COLLECT

Choose and pay your order online. Select “CLICK & COLLECT” in the shipping option. This will allow you to collect your online order items directly from our warehouse. Orders placed before midnight will be available for collection from 12pm onwards the following workday (Sunday - Thursday). You must bring the “INVOICE ORDER”, “PAYMENT RECEIPT” and any valid ID (passport, Emirates ID or drivers licence) upon collection and present it to our warehouse manager.

What if someone else is collecting my order?

That’s fine, but that person must show your notification email (either printout or electronic copy) of Invoice Order, Payment Receipt and a copy of your proof of ID (this may either be photo ID such as a passport, Emirates ID, driving license.)

DO THE BIKES COME ASSEMBLED?

No they do not. However, they are easy to assemble and your delivery will include an instructional booklet and all the necessary tools required. For an instructional video on how to assemble the balance bike please see the Banwood YouTube channel. 

MY BIKE NEEDS SERVICING, DO YOU PROVIDE THIS?

No we do not. However, we will happily recommend a number of places that do offer this service, including those that will provide home based servicing/repairs. Please email us at info@dayoffco.me and we will provide a list of companies in your area. 

RETURN, EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

1. General Conditions

We accepts returns, provided the conditions explained in this policy are met. We do not provide exchanges. We will offer a refund if we are unable to replace a defective or damaged product, but we must be contacted for that purpose. Please make sure you inspect your package(s) upon receipt. If there are signs of damages to the product(s) or courier packaging, please make sure you check the content before accepting it.

Please note that refunds can only be obtained within 7 days of receiving the product. We will offer a refund if you have changed your mind or if we sent you a wrong or defective product. 

In order to obtain a full refund, all products must be returned in their original packaging, with all enclosed documentation and the packaging and product must be perfect condition to be resold.

If a product is to be returned, the return shipping cost will be at the customer’s expense, unless the product is defective or if we have sent you the wrong product, in which case we will bear the cost of shipping. However, please note that the products integrity is your responsibility until the the item reaches our warehouse. Please ensure you pack the return safely to prevent any damage to the product(s) or the products original packaging.

2. Defective Products

We take great care to ensure that your products are packed carefully to arrive perfect and in their original condition. However, in the unlikely event that your products arrive damaged, please contact us within 7 days on info@dayoffco.me and we will work out the best way to rectify the situation.

This does not include damages caused by misuse of the products or failure to follow correct assembly instructions. 

In the event that you have received your product(s) damaged, we will try hard to replace the product(s) for you. If it’s not possible or if the product(s) are no longer available, then a full refund will be offered. 

3. Exchange a Product

We do not offer direct exchange for products purchased online, if you would like to acquire a new product or a different variation, we advise you to “place a new order” for the desired product and the unwanted product can be returned within 7 days of receipt.

4. Return a Product

Before sending the product(s) to us, send us an email with your name, order number and phone number. Once we acknowledge your message and your return request, please return the product(s) to us and place in the courier service or postal service package the respective information so that we can track and trace your return. Returns can also be made in person to our warehouse.

We highly recommend returning any product(s) via a registered courier, tracked postal service as we cannot be held responsible for returned product(s) that are lost or damaged in transit. Customer assumes full responsibility for returning the product(s) including any shipping costs incurred, except for the situations listed above. 

5. Refund

Once we have received the returned product(s), we will inspect the condition and (if eligible) we will initiate the process to refund you within 48 hours. A refund for the price of the product(s) (and if applicable the shipping costs) will be credited to the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10-45 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card and from when the product(s) have been returned, inspected and found in their original condition.
